On Wednesday 29th September, the eMeet takes place in the private upstairs bar of Ronnie Scotts - we even have a band to play us into the night, after all the networking!

The eMeet is London’s only eCommerce networking event that is free for all to attend, with the aim of expanding your network and sharing new ideas.

The eMeet is sponsored by eMusic, the digital music club.

Places are getting very tight now, but if you would like to invite anyone else, please RSVP with their name, email address and company as I’m sure we can find space – after all, the more people, the better the evening is going to be!

The itinerary for the evening is as follows:

6.00pm to 6.30pm – Registration at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Bar
6.30pm to 7.30pm – Drinks, compliments of our sponsor, eMusic
7.30pm to 7.45pm – Welcome and brief keynote speech by eMusic
7.45pm to 9pm – Networking and drinks compliment of our sponsor, eMusic
9.30 onwards – Exclusive performance by Ronnie Scotts Jazz Band

The eMeet is back!

After the success of the previous two events, we are holding our 3rd event on 29th September at Ronnie Scotts in Soho and sponsored by eMusic, the digital music club.

The eMeet is a free to attend networking event, aimed at connecting eCommerce people. eCommerce professionals can meet, strengthen their network, share ideas and incubate new business projects.

There is no sales agenda and no attendance costs - the idea is that the best and brightest from the industry come together for shared benefit.

eMusic are kindly sponsoring the event, which ensures the event is free for all to attend.

So, the eMeet juggernaut continues onwards! The event on 27th January, kindly sponsored by Hill & Knowlton saw over 100 eCommerce professionals come to network and hear from the experts (Hill & Knowlton) about the role that communications can play in the eCommerce space.

The snow is back and so is the eMeet...

Following the first event in December, which was a roaring success with some of the best and brightest people from the eCommerce industry in attendance.

The next eMeet is taking place on 27th January and is being hosted by Hill & Knowlton at 20 Soho Square (W1A 1PR).

The First eMeet - we're up and running!

I'd like to thank everyone who came along to the first eMeet on Wednesday. The aim of the eMeet is to bring people from the eCommerce industry together to swap ideas, expand networks and incubate new business ideas and I think it's far to say it delivered on all these areas!

Now we're up and running, it's time to plan the next event. We were so oversubscribed for the first event that we're looking for a new and larger venue!

The First eMeet - connecting eCommerce People

The eMeet is being organised by the eGroup, an organisation that wants to make it easier for eCommerce professionals to meet and share ideas. The idea for eMeet came from some research conducted by the eGroup that found 87% of eCommerce professionals did not get value for money from the conferences they attended and that 75% felt compelled to pay to attend conferences in order to meet other eCommerce professionals.

The idea behind the eMeet is to bring together people working in ecommerce and online marketing to strengthen current relationships, make new contacts, incubate new business ideas, and share experiences without the cost of attending a conference or there being a sales agenda.

The aim is to bring together leading the eCommerce industry forward in many different ways, who recognize the benefit of meeting others in the same industry.

viagogo are kindly sponsoring the first event in order to ensure that the event is free to attend.

The ideal scenario is that every person who attends brings someone with them who also works in eCommerce or online marketing, to really kick start the experience sharing and new idea generation.
